| Background |
|
In the 20 years I have been programming ,
the last 10 years have been with a company called Focal Research
based in Beer, Devon.
We collate information which we sell to
national companies throughout England. The information is deployed in
the form of databases, for which, I am Director of IT & design. I
currently manage the IT department which employs 3 other programmers. I
have a vast knowledge of database programming, Microsoft Access, VB.NET
along with Windows server technology, networking, antivirus, and backup
routines.

Prior to working for Focal Research, I
worked as a freelance programmer, creating bespoke databases,
professional and games programmes for local companies in Devon. |
| Web Programming |
|
In the last few years, I have been
approached by various friends and companies to design and implement
websites. The majority of which are personal webs for musicians.
Although still learning the newer technologies I am starting to get to
grips with ASP.NET and Microsoft Web Developer. |
